We went to cardigan for three days wedsday, thursday and friday.

DAY THREE AT MT CARDIGAN BY NED C On day three of our cardigan trip I got out of bed and got dressed. We had a nice breakfast of french toast and sausage. After that we went outside to meet with our groups but first we played a game. When we were just about to leave it started to rain and we had to pull on rain jackets. Hiked into the woods along a path littered with colerful leaves from the trees above. Then alwe sloped downward the trees changed to evergreen and the trail was matted down with wet pine netils till we got to a stream that was suronded by a foest floor af pine needles and then stopped to do a stream study. Armen and I went around looking under rock and in pools of water. The others went off in search of other small pools of water. Josh our group leader was looking by Armen and I he said that he saw something move and we moved over it was a salamander. Together we put our net stop of it and brought it to a tray full of water. Over the next few minutes we looked move and found some cool beatles. After that we wandered toward evil and when we got there we found eil poking a stick in the water and adrey say ew. Eil had dropped his net in some deep murky water and could not find it. Then Josh called us in and said we would stay here for another thirty minutes. We all went back out and a lot further this time armen and I were chatting as we walked bake as we decided that we were too far away from Josh and the the other chaperones. We all picked up and walked a bit till Josh stopped us and knelt down next to a plant and explained that it was called a prices pine and they were not so common. After we came across a little area besides the trail that was moderately clear but still had a lot of plants and sticks and had lunch. When everyone was done with their lunch I suggested we play a game called camouflage. It is when a seeker stands in one place and counts to thirty after he can not find anyone else he counts to twenty the fitin and ten then the person who is closest to the seeker is the next seeker. After three or four rounds we packed up and started to head back to the amc loge. Along the way we stopped to sketch a hobble bush in a mossy muddy place so no one could fid a place for there feet. Next we stopped a pond which a clear view of the loge and and a bench we sketched it. Then we got on the bus and had a one hour ride back to school. On the ride back I read a book and looked out the window as the endless miles of trees changed to small houses and fields.
